Raymond Poulidor was a French professional cyclist who competed from 1960 to 1977. He was known as the "eternal second" because of his consistent second-place finishes in major races, including the Tour de France, which he finished on the podium eight times without ever winning. Despite this, Poulidor was a fan favorite and remains one of the most beloved figures in French cycling history. After his racing career, he became a successful businessman and remained involved in cycling as a commentator and team advisor. Poulidor passed away on November 13, 2019, at the age of 83.

Snap or Tough? Which should I get? For those who want a slim and sleek case, we recommend the 'Snap' version. For all-around coverage, our 'Tough' case covers all edges with a raised rubber insert for additional protection of sides & screen, while still offering a slim profile with easy access to buttons and ports.
